1. How will your project meet your students’ learning styles and needs?
*My project will meet both my fourth and fifth graders needs by addressing the standards for their grade level. (measurement, research project, addition/subtraction of decimals)
*Hands-on project that will attract my students and keep them interested. There will also be a podcast or imovie which will be a fun new experience for the children to learn.
*1hr weekly to work on project in computer lab and additional time if needed.
2. How will your project address higher order thinking skills?
*One skill they will have to learn is time management, organization, research, and communication. Many of my students have never done research projects online.
3. How will your project address the skills business and industry tell us are important? (Collaboration, Decision Making Skills, Connecting to the Real World)
*My project will relate directly to the real world. They are doing a "pretend" job and getting experience in a past time that most adults want to be part of - vacation.
